Many of the waterfalls are easily accessible by hiking trails. A hike called the “Three Waterfalls Hike” will take you to Triple Falls, Hooker Falls, and High Falls in 4.5 miles.

3. Watch the Sunset at Jump Off Rock

Jump Off Rock is a very famous attraction that is only 15 minutes outside of Hendersonville. It is one of the most popular and most visited outdoor attractions around.

A drive up the curvy mountain road will lead you to an amazing panoramic view of the mountain skyline. Jump Off Rock is well known for having some of the best sunrise and sunset sights around.

4. Bearwallow Mountain

Bearwallow Mountain is the highest peak in the Bearwallow Heights range in Henderson County. The hiking trail is a moderately challenging two-mile loop that takes about an hour and a half to complete. Alternatively, you can also drive your car up the two miles to the peak of the mountain. The view is worth it.

5. Apple Valley Model Railroad Club
