Mountain Stream RV Park Amenities

Additionally, a newly installed Wi-Fi system ensures campers can enjoy unlimited internet access. For those seeking enhanced speed, higher Wi-Fi options are available for purchase at affordable rates: $4.95 per day, $9.95 for three days, and $14.95 for a week. There is no cell reception at the campground.

Mountain Stream exclusively accommodates RVs and does not offer tent sites. Additionally, there have been recent changes regarding firewood regulations. Campers are no longer allowed to bring their own firewood to the campground. You can purchase wood at the Camp Store.

The sites are well-maintained, and we loved how well-kept everything was.  The picnic tables and fire pit were some of the best we’d seen at a campground.

We stayed at site 22, and it was tight, but we enjoyed the privacy it had compared to others.  There is a line of trees between sites 22 and 20, but you will be close to your neighbor in 23.

Directions to Mountain Stream RV Park

When planning your trip, take Highway 70 West to Highway 80 North (also known as Buck Creek Road) upon reaching Marion. Avoid descending from the Blue Ridge Parkway, as this route is steep and highly curvaceous, unsuitable for RVs.

Address: 6954 Buck Creek Rd, Marion, NC 28752

Despite the mountainous location, Mountain Stream RV Park accommodates RVs of various sizes with ease. Many campers have successfully navigated the curvy roads leading to the campground, even with larger motorhomes and 5th wheels.

We saw several 5th wheels here, and we were able to navigate just fine with our 30’ Class C Motorhome while towing a Jeep behind.
