8 Great Steakhouse in Asheville NC options
There are not many “true” steakhouses in Asheville, but we wanted to create a list of some top choices that have incredible cuts of meat and other delicious meal choices. What is a steakhouse exactly? It’s a restaurant that specializes in steaks mostly, found mainly in North America, and usually includes other popular menu items like chicken, fish, and seafood!
The concept of the steakhouse started in the USA around the mid-19th century. The oldest steakhouse in the USA is located in New York City, called Old Homestead Steakhouse, which was established in 1868.
Today, steakhouses are found all over the country, including right here in Asheville NC. There are a couple of chain steakhouses in Asheville, but we decided to leave those off the list this time; but have included them on the bottom in case you are curious!
