Monument to a Century of Flight is a memorial park that was opened 100 years to the day when the first flight took place.
This monument sits high on a hill and displays fourteen wing-shaped stainless steel pylons ascending 10 to 20 to 120 feet, traveling the distance the Wright brothers reached on their flight. The monument is a fascinating place to check out and walk around. There are informational placards and a great view.
