Formerly known as the Carolina Aviation Museum but renamed in honor of Sully Sullenberger, the captain who saved the lives of everyone onboard US Airways Flight 1549 when he made a successful landing in the Hudson River. 

This museum is located on the grounds of the Charlotte Douglas International Airport and features dozens of aircraft and historical artifacts. Currently closed for major renovations, the museum is expected to reopen by summer 2024.
